Chris Monk

CM Nov '13 GBL high res1OD Consultant, Team & Executive Coach, Advanced CTT Trainer

Core values: Positive Attitude; Respect; Sustainable Development.

An experienced organisational development consultant, executive and team coach, Chris’s strengths lie in his ability to connect with people, situations and the wider systemic context. A Barrett Values Centre ‘Cultural Transformation Tools (CTT)‘ advanced trainer, Chris specialises in working with organisational values and culture.

Dedicated to continuous life learning and subsequently sharing the wisdom he’s accumulated, Chris enjoys supporting leaders to make a positive difference in our world. He loves to bring humour to otherwise deadly serious conversations and, somehow, in doing so sparks creativity from the most logical-thinking people and teams in order that new solutions can emerge.

An external consultant, coach and trainer since 2003, Chris has gained many and varied experiences ranging from executive coaching in warm, cosy environments in London to team coaching outdoors in the snowy, wintry wilderness of Bavarian mountain forests. Chris is highly adaptable, and incorporates many and varied approaches into his work – and at times taking less traditional routes. One of the aspects that he enjoys most about his work is enabling leaders to discover and utilise their unique strengths.

Previously Chris served for 17 years in the British Armed Forces receiving a commendation on leaving as being ‘the driving force behind a visionary and ground-breaking coaching initiative which has led to significant culture change while maintaining world-class operational effectiveness and highly respected standards’.
